Barendsen is an importer and exporter of cut flowers and plants, located at the Aalsmeer Flower Auction. Barendsen has been in business for almost a 100 years, and has been delivering high quality flowers and plants to her customers in over 30 countries all over the world. Customers are wholesalers, flower shops or flower stylists.

Through the Barendsen app its customers (or future customers) can start building a special flower picture database with additional product information. As soon as the app has been downloaded, the user will receive a new set of pictures every day. These pictures are carefully selected by Barendsens top buyers who have visited the auctions in the early morning to present the latest and newest. Below the picture additional product information will be given, such as name, sort and available length. The user will be able to react by sending a message to Barendsen, for more information, or perhaps even to order this product. Pictures in the gallery will be deleted after a month, but can be saved indefinitely as a ‘favorite’ by each individual user.
