STUDENT

Start using Balbies and find the lector who can teach you the language you are willing to speak. Find your lector via geolocation, send him/her a lecture request, and meet him/her so that you can start practising the foreign language face to face.

LECTOR

Register on Balbies as a lector and experience the role of the lector. Teach your students the foreign language you are the best at. Set your price for a lesson or do it just for pleasure.

FEED

Each user has the opportunity to share his/her news on Balbies´s feed. Let your friends know what´s new about you. If you are a student, communicate in your feed just in the language you would like to improve, practise. You will develop writing skills in the language you want to achieve progress in. Your lectors and friends can reply to your posts on your feed in the language you want to practise so you can force yourself to think in the language you are willing to learn.

RATINGS / ASSESSMENTS

Student: each student can give a rating to his/her lector. You can add the rating to your lector via chat. Remember, as a student, you can give this rating to your lector just once. Therefore we advise you to consider it carefully and choose the right time for this rating.
Lector: each lector can give a rating, or in this case, we can call it assessment of his/her student. It is again possible via chat. The most important difference between lector and student account is that the lector can give more ratings/assessments to his/her student.
