This app (for iPad only) consists of 12 phases of flight to improve spoken operational aviation English for professional airline pilots whose native language is not English. Enroute to your destination, you will encounter normal and non-normal operations. It is intended to be realistically simulated and therefore you will hear background noise, some mumbling, different voice pitches and quality. The idea is to train your “ear” to hear and understand in a variety of less-than-perfect communication situations. There is vocabulary to master and questions to respond to for each phase of flight. Scrollable scripts will assist you in mastering the communication and in responding correctly to the questions.
