Application Description
This utility will allow you to quickly calculate the 8 and 16 bit timer register values required to generate interrupts on the Atmel® AVR® range of microprocessors.
Simply enter a desired interrupt period or frequency and the utility will show the required register values along with actual output and error for each timer prescaler setting.
Register values can be displayed as either decimal or hexadecimal.
Watch out for the full version of AVeRates which will calculate RS232 and SPI rates, amongst other things...
