AvePoint Perimeter provides Enterprise users with secure content access from their iPad, iPhone or iPod touch device. This application works with the organization's AvePoint Perimeter Manager to allow secure, offline viewing of an organization's documents. Currently, SharePoint and File System (through AvePoint's DocAve Connector) documents are available. In addition, AvePoint Perimeter provides location-based controls over content access to ensure that documents are only accessed from known or trusted locations. The application provides both 2-factor authentication by using a QR Code or a login code, as well as "anonymous access" where access can be given to trusted users without the need for Active Directory (AD) or SharePoint accounts. Location-based access (or geofencing) is controlled through the AvePoint Perimeter Manager, and uses the Location Services features built into iOS, allowing for pinpoint accuracy to the user's location.
