Application Description
Audiogramm PRO
Welcome to the one and only Audiogram professional application for Audiologists and for those who analyze and cure hearing pathologies.
Also ideal for those whom are carrying a prothesis and is willing to check their own "implant gain".
Audiogram PRO provides a precise tool for tests and also allow the otolaryngologist to manage its customers' archive and analysis, send them by email and print them on AirPrint printers.

Audio samples
---------------
Audiogram PRO uses audio files digitized at 44Khz obtained from professional signals generators producing the samples into WAV format.
The iPad does not perform any audio elaboration because it has as many samples as frequencies (11 da 125Hz a 8Khz) per volumes (22 da -10db a 90db HL).
Headphones calibration
-------------------------
The second relevant aspect is the throughout calibration of the headphones so that, given any frequency, the reproduction sound is the one expected from the audio sample.
This aspect has been taken care of by a "dummy head" equipped with a sound detector: we have been calibrating the headphones regulating the iPad outgoing volume for every auditory samples.
Supported headphones

Audiogram PRO supports any market headphones, provided a proper calibration using the personal Audiogram track, or headphones already listed in the application.
However, we suggest to adopt good quality "Around Ear" headphones that completely cover the entire ear. The headphones needs to not to have an autonomy volume regulation on the cable.
Headphones currently pre-calibrated:
* Apple stock earplugs
* Bose "AE" and "AE2"
"Contact the developer" module allows you to communicate with us, asking questions, giving ideas, advices, constructive critics. We will answer to each and one of you all!
The develop plan of the Audiogram PRO consists in 60 days updated functionalities, 15 days in the event of corrections.
