To make the ideal Aroma Coffee espresso you will have to follow specific parameters such as pump pressure, temperature, volume and time (30 seconds to be more specific). This app will help you adhere to these parameters.

Our coffee at Aroma Coffee Roastery has been designed around a traditional Italian style coffee. The Italian Coffee Institute states that a perfect espresso should consist of 30ml of golden-brown coffee, including the crema, extracted between 25 – 30 seconds.

If coffee is extracted outside these parameters the flavour will be compromised.

-If the extraction rate is too fast (less than 25 seconds) the coffee will taste weak and sour.

-If the extraction rate is too long (more than 30 seconds) the coffee will taste bitter and burnt.

Calibrate your coffee grinder to achieve a perfect extraction under these parameters.

By using this app you will gain the art of extracting a perfect consistent Aroma Coffee espresso.

Instructions on how to use this app:

-Tap the screen immediately as you start extracting the coffee from your espresso coffee machine.

-Once the timer on the app reaches 30 seconds, STOP will appear on your screen. You should stop extraction on your espresso coffee machine, which should be extracted at 30mls (1oz).

-If coffee extraction is more or less than 30 mls (1oz), please adjust your coffee grinder and restart.
