Arithmetude was designed around the basic timed arithmetic test given to elementary school students to evaluate their addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division skills. Fully configurable, it allows the user to enable or disable the timer, sound, negatives, and the solve button. A practice mode is also included that keeps one of the operands constant and generates successive problems by incrementing the second operand. As the student improves, the difficultly can be increased using a slider bar with ten levels of difficulty. The lite version limits the difficultly range to the first two levels.
