Using the user's location, the app displays on a map the closest historical sites from the National Registry of Historic Places. For each site, the app links to it's Wikipedia page. Once on the Wikipedia page, the user can choose to see a list of nearby sites that are categorized as having the same architectural style.

ArcheUS also offers speech playback, which is great for self-guided walking tours! The speech playback always applies to the closest location. Limit of 20 speech transactions per day.
