APN: Requirements
This app is intended for private use by physicians licensed in the United States only. After download, registration with your valid NPI is required to activate your APN membership and the app. WiFi or internet access is required as data is stored on server for security. Use with iPhone, iPodTouch or iPad.

APN: Meeting the Communication Challenge
One of the most challenging aspects to medical practice is physician-to-physician communication. It directly affects the quality of patient care as well as your time and efficiency. APN: Four Custom Communication Platforms
** Text: choose the text icon to compose your letter, memo or message rapidly and simply by touching your list of key phrases and sentences. This list is completely customizable. You can also type anything you want as well. Your letter is instantly composed.


Press send and your letter is delivered instantly and securely to other APN members.

** Fax: choose this icon to compose a letter, message or memo for secure fax. This is a good option if you would like to communicate in a traditional way with colleagues who are non APN members. As with text, all faxes are formatted automatically with header, message and signature. A limit of 10 faxes per month exists. Upgrading to our subscription service will allow for unlimited faxes!

** Voice: choose this icon to compose a 30 second voice message. Now you can use the power of your own voice without the barriers of traditional phone calls or pages. The recorder is extremely simple and fast to use. Just press record and talk! Choose to send to instantly deliver to your APN colleagues. It’s your voice now more useful than ever!

** Create Your Own Custom Network: choose this icon to invite other APN members to share patient data instantly and securely over a patient specific network that you create. When your colleague(s) accepts, patient databases are instantly linked. For example, all doctors networking on patient Jane Doe can instantly see/add/edit patient data such as problems, diagnoses, meds, allergies, discontinued meds, labs, micro, nursing values, radiology, or procedural results. Hence, networked doctors could all see the results of the colonoscopy, mammogram, PAP smear and Hgb A1c. This is a terrific option for doctors wishing to work together and coordinate patient care more efficiently. It’s also very cool for doctors working together on inpatient teams.
