Application Description
Parents, hand your iPhones over to your children and achieve magnificent
minutes of peace while they become fascinated with the weird and wonderful
animals in our app. Oh, and they can learn some stuff, too.
"Animal Colours - Black" is a flashcards app, aimed at babies and toddlers. A
series of interactive screens succeeds each other, with a picture of an
animal, a voice that speaks its name, and simple animations and sounds every
time the screen is touched. You can choose to hear the words in three
languages: English, Spanish and German.
Babies are riveted by the movement and sound, and toddlers can learn the
names and the colours we group the animals in.
The choice of animals in this series is wacky and fun; not just the cat and the rat, but
the blue-footed booby and the duck-billed platypus.
When we first bought our iPhones our children pounced on them, and we soon
realized what a wonderful tool it is to keep them quiet and entertained.
