Capital A brings together a variety of stakeholders in the cultural field by organizing cultural events in and for the city of Amsterdam, thereby actively strengthening its leading position in Europe's cultural and creative landscape.

The Amsterdam Art Weekend is Capital A's key annual event. During this long weekend galleries, post-graduate artists-in-residence, museums and other cultural institutions hold exciting state-of-the-art exhibitions with works by both new and established international artists. The second edition of Amsterdam Art Weekend will take place from November 29th till December 1st 2013.
