Alphabet And Words Instructions:
This app was created with the purpose of educating while entertaining children between the ages of three and five years old. It consists of two activities: LEARNING and PLAY.

Alphabet And Words LEARNING:
LEARNING provides the child with an alphabet pyramid where he/she can press on any of the blocks and will be provided with pictures starting with the letter block that was pressed. In addition to the pictures, the child will be provided with the sound of the letter and the pronunciation of the object in the picture. Also, fun facts will be provided with each picture. These are not vocalized and are intended for a capable reading child or adult to share with the child playing the game.

Alphabet And Words PLAY:
PLAY provides the child with a picture/word association game. Using the same objects from the LEARNING activity, the child will be presented with three words that they will need to correlate to the picture. Picture to word association is done by pressing and holding the word and moving it to the yellow slot under the corresponding picture. For each six correct word placements, the child will be awarded a star. Maximum number of stars that can be collected is 26. The activity will advise the child when an incorrect association has been made by providing the correct word below their selections and if the picture is pressed (& hold), with the pronunciation of the displayed object. At the end of the game, the child will be provided with the total (no numeric value) of stars collected.
It should be noted that while in the PLAY activity, the child has the option of toggling between LEARN and PLAY in order to check on words prior to making a selection.
