This is an offline news reader for Al-Monitor, "the pulse of the Middle East." It features some of the most prominent journalists in the Middle East and around the world. In addition, each day Al-Monitor translates and features "must reads" from 20 major news organizations throughout the region.
Al-Monitor's mission is to "uncover the trends while covering the news" – so it is not a conventional news site. It seeks creative and original analysis, from the region, to look around the corner and see what is on the horizon. If the articles on Al-Monitor are written in the regional languages, the Turkish, Arabic and Hebrew originals are also posted on the site.
Al-Monitor's content is regularly referenced in publications including The Wall Street Journal, Time, Reuters, Le Monde, The New York Times, and many others.
