Airfield Finder provides a simple flight navigation tool. It contains a list of airfields large and small. Version 3.0 includes nearly 35,000 airports for over 200 countries worldwide. One purchase gets you the app on all suitable devices, e.g. iPad and iPhone.
Visiting a friend for the weekend, let Airfield Finder tell you the location of the nearest airport or airfield and how long it would take to get there from your location, your local airfield or another address of your choice.
You can set the aircraft speed, and the units of measuring distance and speed.
The airfields have runway, altitude, contact details and general information.
As a pilot I am always using it to find convenient airfields and how long the journey would take. It's like adding one more mode of transport to the Maps app!
