air photoclock is an online aviation gallery and a functional desktop or nightstand clock. The app downloads images from the large aviation images database www.airwork-images.com and displays the preview images of these high resolution photos together with a clock and a small advertsing on the bottom.

If you want to print any of the images as a poster, you can buy them for a reasonable price at www.airwork-images.com . All files are high resolution scans of professional slides or 12 MP files from professional equipment.

Features:
- a new image with its caption is downloaded every 60 seconds (default, can be changed)
- original captions are displayed when available. Most of the images have captions.

Alexis von Croy is the photographer of these images. He is a pilot and longtime aviation journalist for german flying magazines, the author of several aviation books - and he has flown many of the airplanes you will see - with the exception of the heavy iron from Airbus and Boeing and the military jets, of course.

Johann Huguenin designed the technical side of this app. He is the aerobatic vice-champion in the advanced class of Switzerland in 2009. Johann has released other aviation apps like Air Navigation, a complete moving map navigation solution for pilots.
