In 2009, G. Aaron Klotz founded the Adrian Dirtbags and the Adrian Dirtbags Fall Baseball League. Located in Adrian, MI, the fall league has grown over the first four years and has had over 400 high school age players come through the system. In 2011, the Dirtbags put their first ever team on the field, as the 8U Adrian Dirtbags made their debut. In 2012, the Dirtbags fielded three teams – 8U, 9U and 10U, while also during the fall the Dirtbags added a youth fall league, which attracted 110 players. With running a first class operation and everyone wanting to be associated with the Dirtbags, more teams were created in 2013, adding three more teams, bring the grand total to six teams – 8U, two 9U, 10U, 11U and 12U. Dirtbag Nation is alive and well!
