ACView was developed to plot America's Cup LiveLine Data on a map. The Emmy Award winning LiveLine system relays GPS and other data from the AC45/72 yachts, data from all mark and umpire boats and also the boundaries. This IPad tool was built for ACWS teams to used during the last 2 years to get an overview of the existing conditions on the water and the layout of the course. Now you can have the same tool the sailors used on your own personal ipad and get live information about existing conditions on the bay (if the mark boats are out) and the speed and heading of the racing yachts.
Even if no race is officially going on your can see live if ACEA are doing tests and setting up racecourses. To be used in the LVC and AC, and even maybe in the RBYAC.
Add this free tool to your America's Cup experience.

*** First time usage ***

To use the first time: click on the gear on the top left corner delete and type in the IP that it says at standard. Also at port type in the 4940 to get the live data and 4941 for demo data. click connect and you should be online. This only need to be done once. The reason this is not hardcoded is because if this is being used on the AC72/45 the IP would change.

Oh and if you have a AC45/72 feel free to connect it to your Pelicase it can also read to the format from the " Onboard Streaming Data Interface Specification"
