This application records location and steps using GPS and accelerometer. The application is mainly used for the research project "travel behavior under the urban design influence".

Steps to use:

1. Click on the “Sign Up” button and create a username, enter a valid email address, and create a password for this.

2. After registration, you should be able to go to the “My Home” page. On this page, click on the start button at the bottom to turn on the recording function. You can leave this application running in the background by clicking the “Home” button on the iPhone (the only circular button on the iPhone). When you start recording, allow the GPS function when the dialog prompts.

3. Keep the application running most of the time. If you want to save power, you can turn it off in the buildings (library, home, classrooms etc.). But make sure to turn it on when you are moving again. To turn off recording, you can click on the “Stop” button at the bottom of the Map Page to stop recording.

4. Stop recording (click on the “Stop” button at the bottom of the Map Page to turn it off). Then click on the “Settings” button on the Main Home Page, and then click on the “Upload all Records” button to upload data. When finishing, the application will remind that upload successes.

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
