Accent takes pride in sourcing garments and accessories that contributes to making our customers feel special and unique. More importantly the Accent staff aim to build a rapport where possible with all our customers. Our goal is to provide a first class service using non-intrusive sales techniques and build long-term relationships with our clients. We also endeavour to be a desirable store for customers to shop at, be seen in and associated with.
THE HISTORY OF ACCENT
The Accent menswear designer clothes store was first established in 1984, located in the Queen’s Arcade; Leeds. Brands such as Liberto, Classic Nouveaux, Replay and Diesel were among the first designer clothes brands to be stocked and sold in our store almost 24 years ago.
As the company has grown Accent has evolved, predicting future trends and introducing new designer brands in order to provide our customers with highly desirable fashion garments and products.
Accent is a family run business with a warm and social atmosphere that filters through to the shop floor and its customers. With growing success Accent Juniors was opened in 1986 which now stocks Armani Junior, Diesel, Replay and Sons, Nolita, DKNY and Timberland to name just a few; catering for the ages of new born to 16 years old. Accent Juniors stocks some of the very best in designer jeans, designer t-shirts, designer tops, designer jackets, designer shirts and designer dresses for boys and girls under 16.
1987 saw the arrival of Accent Ladies which was first located in the Victoria Quarter. It is now located in the Queens Arcade opposite Accent Men’s and Accent Junior in a new store spread over three floors. Not only does Accent Ladies stock both key and innovative designer brands such as Replay, Diesel, Belstaff, G-Star; and Lyle and Scott; we also support local independent designers such as Love Handles, Mae Dae, Rebekah Murphy and Beautiful Girl; giving our customers exclusive and rare designer clothes to choose from.
Our sales philosophy has always been to treat or customers as friends; and this is why we have a strong and loyal customer following. We are proud to say some of which have supported us for over 20 years and recommended their friends, family and colleagues to follow suit. We aim to give the very best service and provide the best designer clothing we can for our customers.
