Application Description
AbilisPhone is a telephony application created to convert the smartphone into
a headeset linked to the corporate's switchboard implemented in Abilis, an
all-in-one device that provides advanced CTI and IP technology.
It may automatically choose the most convenient way to call:
- VoIP (under WiFi or data network coverage)
- GSM postselection
- GSM Call-Back requested via data connection or via SMS
The VoIP service is not used in case of bad link quality or too long delay in
the connection with Abilis.
The AbilisPhone can call and be called as a normal extension of the firm's
PBX, moreover it can record the ongoing call (if in the path of the abilis)
and send the recording to one's mailbox.
