The Atlantic Beach Bike Festival 2014 will feature motorcycle stunt shows, live entertainment , and film screenings where visitors can cool down, and experience independent Black cinema on the big screen.From the late 1930s all the way into the 60s, Atlantic Beach was one of the liveliest places for blacks in the segregated south. In 1966, a state charter was issued making it the first and only black-owned oceanfront town, it still remains one of the only black-governed and owned beaches in the nation.
