“A Shout For Help” as the name implies is a shout for help that can be heard around the world as long as the user can send a simple text.

By leveraging some of the incredible capabilities of the iPhone including fast GPS location, Maps and FaceTime. The user in distress can send “A Shout For Help” with their exact location to a trusted contact in just a few seconds. Moments after reading the Shout for Help the contact can locate the user position with IOS Maps then call using FaceTime to visually assess the user’s distress.

This App is not intended for entertainment. “A Shout For Help” will send a text message containing the users exact location to a trusted contact in times of distress.

Examples of use:

A person is seen walking onto a campus with a gun, as soon as they find suitable cover students send “A Shout For Help”, in moments trusted contacts report the situation to the authorities. This action has the potential to save lives.

A child walking home from school notices a suspicious person following her, she sends “A Shout For Help” to grandma. Grandma upon receiving the “Shout” calls the child using FaceTime and evaluates the situation. 99 times out of 100 grandma will simply comfort and assure the child, if the child does not answer a more drastic response such as calling 911 may be called for.
