Pixel is back in this special holiday edition : A Pixel Christmas 2012, and this festive new version is more fun and engaging than ever.
This special edition of the game features:
• 36 new levels
• 6 Christmas-inspired themes, with all new rings and color schemes.
• New score by Khris, with 4 new holiday songs that would inspire even the grumpiest of elves.
• Bows, Christmas lights, and snowflakes scattered throughout the game.
• Support for Game Center
As usual, Pixel is hungry, and needs your help to feast on his favorite candy-colored bits. It's easy to feed Pixel; so easy in fact, you can do it with one finger. But, of course, there will be obstacles along the way. You'll need to watch the timer, because when it runs out -- the game is over. You'll also want to pay attention to Pixel's instructions: if the console tells you that you need to end on 3 blue rings, then you definitely don't want to eliminate them too early. And then there are the faders… those are the pesky colored rings that fade to transparent during the course of the game. As you can imagine, it's a little more difficult to match a ring to Pixel's color when the ring has no color.
If you succeed in your mission, Pixel will reward you with dances, flips, winks, and kisses. He might even do a little Gangnam Style dance for you.
It's all a great deal of fun, in a game that's easy to pick up, but nearly impossible to set down.
