The Red Cross 143 is one of the programs of the Philippine Red Cross that teaches the people to take care and protect their community. It empowers every 'barangay' to be prepared in responding and handling any kind of disasters or calamities. The program aims to form a network of volunteers who will disseminate and give important and necessary information that could help to initiate quick and fast response when sudden situations such as floods, landslides, fires, etc that might come.
