Wanted Dead or Alive is a story about three little opossums and a striped skunk that discover their favorite fruit trees in Foster Fox’s garden. The foursome spends their nighttime excursions gorging on the ripe persimmons and leaving behind a real mess. The opossums had a very special talent and so did the little skunk. They would use this talent to trick the fox.


When Foster discovers what is happening he makes a plan to catch them and teach them a lesson. Peter, Paul, Patsy and Skeeter learn that being honest is the best reward.


Many of the pages have an optional “Paint Me” feature for children to finger paint the pages and create their own custom version of the book.
