The Vermilion Agricultural Society’s Annual Fair, located in the rural community of Vermilion Alberta, is a not-for-profit community event, organized and run by volunteers, taking place over the course of three days. This year will mark the 107th year of the fair and the theme is “Celebrating 100 Years with Lakeland College”. Events include a parade, trade show, animal judging, Pony Chuck wagon and chariot races, entertainment, fireworks and agricultural/horticultural displays. Each year several thousand exhibitors showcase their talents in a friendly competitive spirit.
