Application Description
Welcome to SYT 2013 | Sharpening Your Teeth advanced investigative training for administrative watchdogs.
Since 2005, the Ontario Ombudsman's Office, under the leadership of André Marin, has pioneered an innovative methodology for conducting systemic investigations. Our Toronto course, Sharpening Your Teeth (SYT), has been offered every year since 2007 and has welcomed colleagues from Australia, Bermuda, South Korea, Israel, Brazil, Ireland, Holland, the Caribbean, South Africa and the United Kingdom.
The intensive course teaches advanced investigation techniques, using the Ontario Ombudsman's office's proven models for conducting systemic investigations. Other course topics include interviewing witnesses, writing and publicizing reports, using new technologies and social media, and more.
