Our Past
Security First Insurance Agency was developed in September 2004 out of a dream that Tim Van Denend and Jeff Krommendyk had to own and operate an agency of their own. Both Jeff and Tim had considerable experience in the insurance industry, but it was the desire for a stable future for them and their families in an industry that was changing daily, that Security First was born.
The agency grew rapidly due to the sizable books of business that Tim and Jeff were able to roll into the agency as a result of 25 years combined experience in the industry. Steady growth continued despite the soft market; primarily due to Tim and Jeff's commitment to invest in building a new business which has given Security First a solid foundation.

Our Present
Now that you know how we started, it’s important to present who we are as a result of our humble beginnings. Security First has been built on the principles of integrity and commitment. We see ourselves as the bridge between the insurance companies we represent and our clients, and we want to do right by both. We understand the importance of putting good, clean business on the books with the carriers we represent and are, in turn, dedicated to finding the best carriers to suit your specific needs.
