Application Description
Read Cursive is an ABA based app developed by WebTeam Corporation to teach young individuals about how to read English cursive letters. The app is conceptualized by Kate Gladstone.
The Settings part has multiple customizable features, including Category, Training, Reminder Animation and Animation Speed.
Under Category, there are four options to set the content for the gameplay part. You can select Letter (Lower Case/Upper Case), Word (Dolch Words/Fry Words/Gladstone Words), Sentence and/or Story (Multiple Choice/One Word).
With Training on, you can have a glimpse of how the gameplay progresses. It provides a good opportunity to get acquainted with the app activities.
Reminder Animation is a new feature incorporated in Read Cursive. With Reminder Animation on, you will see a timed animation after each wrong answer, before being asked again to give the correct answer.
The Animation Speed feature comes with three options: Slow, Medium and Fast. It is recommended that you set the Animation Speed as Slow to begin with, so your child or student does not get overwhelmed by a lot of fast, onscreen movements.
By default the Parental Lock is kept ON. Parent can put this lock OFF, by entering PIN. The default PIN is '1234'. A parent will be able to make purchases only upon entering correct pin code.
