The Ontario BIA Association (OBIAA) and the Toronto Association of BIAs (TABIA), our many sponsors and exhibitors invite you to join us for the 2013 Business Improvement Areas National Conference in Toronto, Ontario. The BIA National Conference is presented with the goal of giving BIAs and associate members the opportunity to hear from subject matter experts and network with others that share the same passion for creating a vibrant people place in their core area.

The theme of this year’s conference is Building Our Local Economies…Together. The program has been developed based on the past 13 years of history and experience and from your feedback. Every year we survey participants at the conference and in 2012 our Conference Sponsor Enigma Research Corporation followed up with an on-line survey. OBIAA and TABIA have used the results of this survey to “Build” a conference intended to appeal to BIA managers and board members, business owners, municipal staff, planners and economic development practitioners, as well as arts and culture industry professionals.

An exciting program is planned focusing on keynote speakers and seminar topics that will give you relevant and topical information to apply in your own municipality. Roundtable sessions have been scheduled to give delegates an opportunity to learn from others’ successes in a smaller networking group.
