Nifty Fifty for Kids is a learning tool that teaches basic information about the American States. This app features lessons on the individual states that cover pictures of the state on the US map, the state capital, state flags, two letter abbreviations, when the state joined the nation, and some interesting facts about the state. Nifty Fifty also offers quizzes to reinforce the knowledge gained in the lessons. Two types of quizzes are available. One allows kids to identify states on the United States map. The other quiz uses multiple choice questions to test learning. The number and types of questions can be tailored to meet different levels of difficulty.

Nifty Fifty for Kids is fully integrated with Game Center so kids can gauge their performance against others. There are also a variety of achievements that can be unlocked. A report card is also provided so learning can be targeted to the areas where it is needed most.
