★ Paolo Rui was born in Italy in 1962. At 28-year-old, he opened his own studio in Milan, and began his career as the free illustration creator. He liked painting on the back of the canvas by oil color. By this way, the paintings added the levels for texture’s rough sense, and were with sincere beauty. His works received the award for best illustration in 3rd Italy Illustration Yearbook.
