Fudegraphy is a new type of word art. That is to write western-style characters with eastern-style pen. With hand-written characters at its core, this adds a vigor (ikioi) and a nature flow (nagare), not seen before. Using this simple pen, one can easily taste the joys of Fudegraphy.
It has been one hundred years since Haiku became known to the world. Presently there are millions of Haiku lovers. The Narrow Road to the Deep North (Oku) is a series of haiku written by Basho. It has been translated by Donald Keene, professor of Japanese studies at Columbia University. I have thus used it in my fudegraphy.
Today, for many purposes, from writing letters onwards, the computer is used. But like a pendulum swinging, these days,
when people want to distinguish their originality or independence, using a brush is fresh and stylish. Fudegraphy has a large potential for commercial use - for restaurant menus, titles of posters and brochures, etc. Enjoy Fudegraphy using cartridge type Fude(brush) pen!
