The Eyes Have It (TEHI) app is designed to teach medical students and to assist physicians, optometrists, ophthalmic technicians, nurses and other health care providers in managing eye care problems.

Text is written by respected University of Michigan ophthalmologist Jonathan D. Trobe, M.D. Hyperlinks to supplemental images, narrated animations, and videos illustrate the clinical and teaching points. Images, animations, and videos were generated at the University of Michigan.

With 134 eye conditions, 410 images, more than 40 narrated animations and videos, 6 screening exams and an eye anatomy review section, this pocket ophthalmology resource can be your go-to source for eye information!

The web product by the same name, on which this app is based, has become the favored worldwide resource in this field.

Highlights:
•Investigate eye conditions through concise bulleted text that addresses the five questions that you most want answered: What is it? How does it appear? What else looks like it? What to do? and What will happen?
•Tap on text links to view supplemental images with highlighting arrows, narrated animations, and videos
•Carry out a differential diagnosis using the links to candidate conditions under “What else looks like it?”
•Find out what happens if you correctly or incorrectly diagnose or manage a condition by tapping on “What will happen?”
•Learn about the structures of the eye and visual pathway through cross section drawings and ophthalmoscopic images in the Anatomy section
•Watch videos to learn how to conduct 6 of the most common screening eye exams and learn how to interpret what you find
•Search title and text with a condition name or keyword to find a feature of interest to you
•‘Favorite’ a condition to easily reference eye conditions that come up often for you
