Children’s books can not only be entertaining, but also educational. CHAUCER’S TOY BOX, is both. Using the antics of a real, fun-loving, almost human-seeming little dog, the author entertains through the use of actual pictures, illustrations, and poetry. The book also provides the opportunity for children to identify with Chaucer and learn that they, too, should put their toys away after playing with them.


Many of the pages have an optional “Paint Me” feature for children to finger paint the pages and create their own custom version of the book.
