The mission of the Institute is to promote the art and science of Business Continuity. The BCI is globally recognized as the membership organization of choice for Business Continuity Practitioners. It is an accreditation body in the field of BC, a global thought leader on all BC matters, an education and training provider and a publisher of a major industry publication called Continuity Magazine. It also runs an annual, global Business Continuity Awareness Week and organises the leading event in the industry, the BCM World Conference and Exhibition. This event features a vibrant Conference that is explicitly structured to provide value for all levels of business continuity experience – from the newcomer in Stream A sessions to the grizzled practitioner in Stream B and C sessions - and, of course, the bustling Exhibition, with some 45 leading product and service providers supported by an extensive, educational seminar programme across the two days.
