Application Description
MONEY MATRIX:
This app shows six Australian coins (5¢, 10¢, 20¢, 50¢, $1 and $2) and five notes ($5, $10, $20, $50 and $100) which appear at the bottom of the screen. Touch the picture of the coin or note to see a larger picture in the middle of the screen, and hear a description.
To see more coins or notes swipe to the left or right at bottom.
Push the Home button at the top right of the screen to go to the main menu.
This app shows the children pictures of both sides of the Australian coins and notes and explains their value. It also describes the pictures on the front and back.
After the children have played with this program they will be able to identify and use Australian currency.
PAYING WITH COINS AND NOTES:
This app helps the child use coins and/or notes to pay for music and see a character dance.
This app includes three sub-programs. One pays with coins, the second one pays with notes, and the last one with coins and notes.
This app teaches the child to count out currency to pay for a purchase.
