Application Description
Alphabet Trace is an ABA-based learning game designed to help special needs children to improve their skill of writing English uppercase letters. Developed by WebTeam Corporation, the app integrates the fundamentals of applied behavior analysis aka ABA.
The app comes with a neat-looking interface and exciting gameplay features. In the play part, the child needs to finger-trace letters A-Z. To assist the child in doing a decent job, his or her parent or teacher can enable the training part from the app settings. With training mode on, the child can make out how to trace any given letter.
In the app settings, parents or teachers can set time and also specify whether or not the question order should be random or sequential. Depending on the preference of the child, the background sound can be turned on and off from the settings.
You can also select the accuracy level of assessment based on a child’s need and pace of learning.
As per the norms of the ABA method of intervention, a reasonable performance is rewarded with a brisk animation. The reward object and related animation can be selected from the settings.
