ERIC HOFFMAN's life was in shambles after learning that his thought-to-be-deceased father is, in fact, the infamous super-villain ABYSS... alive and well and plotting something appallingly evil.
Fearing the plot involved the kidnapping of QUIVER, the ARROW's most recent sidekick, ERIC sought out the costumed hero to help decipher the clues. Stumped, the pair travelled to Oakland to get help from another former-sidekick, SHAAFTE.
But the musical clues lead the trio right back to the HOFFMAN mansion, with more questions than answers.
