Application Description
Why should you have to search for information in a World Cup App?
Treat yourself to the best FIFA World Cup experience the iPhone/iPod can offer by using an App that doesn’t just contain relevant info, but also presents that information the way you want it.
WCC 2010 offers a unique and up-to-date view of the World Cup, where everything you need is either already visible or just a single swipe away.
Without having to click or scroll you’ll see what matches are currently in progress (with up-to-date scores) or are about to start. With a single swipe to the right you’ll see the results of previous matches (and more!).
But there’s more, wouldn’t it be fun if you could predict the outcome of the matches and compete with your friends? Well, you can!
The Challenge part of the application (a single swipe to the right) is all about predicting the matches and competing with your friends at work, your family and even the rest of the world. You can create your own private party and invite others to join you. You receive points when you predict the outcome correctly or if you predict the winner.
Features of the WCC 2010 App

- Provides an overview of current and upcoming matches (with localized date / time information so that you don’t have to worry about time zones).
- Push Notifications: Receive a notification for every team, or just your favorite team. A Push notification is created when: a match is about to start, a goal is made, a match ends (including the outcome).
- Unique swipe navigation that allows for easy access to current matches, recent matches and your ranking in the parties you are participating in.
- Easy prediction entry view, to make it as effortless as possible.
- A super special World Cup Horn (Vuvuzela) to use when your favorite team scores (use at your own risk when at work).
World Cup detail views:
- A calendar with all matches and their results.
- An overview of current group standings.
- A separate view with only the matches (both results and match dates) of your favorite team.

- An overview containing: your points, your ranking in all the parties you are participating in, and an overview of how many matches you have already predicted.
- A fast and simple way to keep adding predictions (instead of selecting one match at a time).
- Create your own parties, and invite your friends (simply by entering their e-mail address).
- A detailed leaderboard for each of the parties you participate in.
