UWeather
Detailed App Info:
Application Description
For iPod and iPhone!
The UWinnipeg Weather App is an alternative weather information centre for residents of Downtown Winnipeg.
Traditionally, weather information is gathered by Environment Canada at the Airport. This data is only updated once an hour, and often displays temperature much cooler than the downtown area (due to the heat island effect). In contrast, the UWinnipeg Weather App is updated every minute and is located in the heart of downtown Winnipeg.
Some of the features of this app are:
- 24-hour and 14-day graphs of temperature, pressure, windspeed and more
- Doppler radar image supplied by Environment Canada
- graphical Thermometer and Wind Vane
- frequent updates and new features to come
