Created by Speech Remedy, SR-Naming provides an interactive approach to building receptive and expressive language and word finding skills.

Application contains clear, up-to-date, real life photographs accompanied by multisensory (auditory / spoken, visual / written and tactile / manual) information to allow the user to regain lost skills by targeting his / her most effective and efficient learning modality.

SR-Naming is geared towards adults looking to rebuild speech-language-cognitive skills. The application may be used with or without the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).

Level of difficulty can be altered as skills change, with auditory and visual cues being provided as needed. An ‘answer’ button is available at all times, should a stimulus item prove to be too difficult.

SR-Naming provides the following capabilities:

Timing between the display of photographs may be specified by the user.

Choice of stimuli may be controlled by selecting or omitting particular vocabulary items.

Options for both Receptive (auditory) or Expressive (spoken) language tasks.

Beginner, intermediate and advanced levels provide a wide range of use cases.

A help button provides phonemic (1st letter/sound) and multiple choice cues for higher level tasks, as needed. Answer may be revealed at any time.

Randomized presentation of stimuli reduces false learning.
