sk8map - find, skate and share spots on your mobile
sk8map is the brand new iPhone app from Mavericks. It provides you insight into the skateboard community.
sk8map is more than a maps app.
It is a combination of geographical content and the skateboard community, implemented with the latest iPhone technologies.
SPOTS
You have access to the map which shows you all nearby skatespots using your GPS location. There are 20 different spot types like handrail, manual, miniramp, skatepark, shop, etc. and they are indicated by different icons.
The spot description contains information like ratings, skateable in the rain, if there are nasty residents and much more - all you need for a good session.
SCOUTS
Scouts are well known skaters from different regions. They are skating years of their life and are a part of the skateboard scene. Find out more about the scouts, what they are doing and what their favorite spots are. The scouts are responsible for the quality of sk8map, each spot is verified by one of our scouts.
SHOP
With the product feed of sk8shop.ch you stay informed about the latest products. Skates, Streetwear or Accessories - you always will know what’s new in the scene.
ACCOUNT
You can create an account and share your favorite spots in the sk8map community. You can upload, edit and manage your spots and images.
