Application Description
SDgrid is an iPhone app designed as a tool to help San Diego residents reduce their home energy use. It uses information provided by the SDG&E Customer Personal Energy Usage data set and allows you to perform a personal energy audit.
SDgrid provides several methods for tracking your home energy consumption. You can monitor usage by kWh or estimated cost of energy. Data can be viewed by daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly increments. Patterns of energy usage are extracted from the data to identify peak usage times and periods of highest use.
With the SDgrid app, you can determine when you are using the most energy and revise a conservation plan to save energy and reduce your monthly utility bill.
