qCard Sorting
Detailed App Info:
Application Description
qCard Sorting is an image-based card sorting app for design research.
A researcher can use QCard Sorting to conduct card sorting experiments, in which a participant distribute a set of cards into 9 groups, according to a semantic scale, such as simple --- complex.
During the preparation phase, the researcher imports images as cards for the experiment by connecting an iPad to iTunes, adding image files under the "app" tab, and then performing sync.
During the card sorting phase, a participant
(1) first sort cards into 3 groups,
(2) then respectively sort each group into 3 sub-groups, resulting in 9 sub-groups in total,
(3) and finally review and fine tune sorting results.
The researcher can send the final sorting results as a text file attachment to an email.
