PwC’s Australian Entertainment & Media Outlook provides five year revenue forecasts and commentary about 11 sectors including internet, free-to-air television, subscription television, newspaper and magazine publishing, radio, outdoor media, books, filmed entertainment, interactive games and recorded music.
The forecast period for the 2011 publication is 2011 to 2015 inclusive.
The revenues tracked include advertising and consumer spending. Consumer spending includes internet access fees, subscription television fees, filmed entertainment products - cinema tickets, DVD sales, rental and downloads, recorded music – physical and digital, newspapers – physical and digital, magazines – physical and digital and consumer and educational books – physical and digital.
