The Phantom of the Opera - Films4Phones

This 1925 film is set in the opera building of Paris. The mysterious phantom is stalking and threatening the famous singer Carlota, and by doing so makes her give up the role of 'Marguerite' in the opera of Faust. Once he has forced her out he manages to manipulate Christine Daae into the vacant role. Christine later meets the phantom deep in the underground catacombs, and tries to find out why he is doing what he is doing. A Classic film of the period of great interest to us all.
