Parade of Homes iPhone App Description
Attend the 2012 OKC Parade of Homes right from your iPhone. Just download this free app and you can virtually visit each home on this year's Parade. Created by adsfactory in conjunction with the Central Oklahoma Home Builders Association, this app is designed not only to act as a guide for home enthusiasts but also as a helpful tool.
Even if you don't have time to personally visit all 122 homes on the Parade, you don't have to miss a single one. Simply choose a Featured Neighborhood or which area of the metro and neighborhood you wish to explore. From there you will be presented with a virtual map showing the pinpoint locations of each home within that neighborhood participating in the Parade. Tapping a pinpoint reveals the home's address and builder and leads you to that particular home's individual screen.
Not sure which metro area and neighborhood you want to visit? Choose the map option from the bottom to open the virtual map of the entire Parade. You'll also notice your current location as notated by the blinking blue dot. This feature can easily lead you to houses close to your proximity and make it much more efficient when planning your driving route from home to home.
While you can personally rate, view a photo, information and user ratings for all the homes, several of the homes, as notated by a red pinpoint versus a blue pinpoint, provide you with many more tools and interactivity.
Elite Listing homes allow you the following features:
• Bookmark the home allowing you quick and easy navigation back to that home
• View additional photos to give you a much better feel of the home
• Add the listing to your FaceBook and Twitter pages to share with all your online friends
• Email the listing to friends and family
• Email or call the builder directly from the app with any questions you may have
• Make comments about the home that you can refer back or add to, helping you to keep track of those features of the home that you like and dislike
• Access more information about the home or builder as provided by the builder
