Application Description
The NxtGen911 App will allow users to contact participating Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) via our messaging platform with exact geo-locating and tacking, multi-media and two-way communication. The App also allows to communicate with Friends and Family for non-emergency situations that utilize your exact location.
Please note: While we are working to expand the NxtGen911 network, your initial purchase location may not be in a working PSAP area. You will be notified when PSAPs are available in your area. Until then, you should always call 911 (in the US) and if you call from within our app, the location of the phone will be followed to help locate you in case of emergency through our website. You will have free access to our Friends and Family feature for the first year from purchase date, which we will be charging through in-app purchases in the future.
* Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
